Product and operator

These terms cover Timer for Toggl Track version 1.2.0 and its associated hosted service. Brian Semrau is the operator.

Timer for Toggl Track is an unofficial third-party integration. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Toggl, CORSAIR, or Elgato. Product and company names remain the property of their respective owners.

Permission to install and use

Subject to these terms and the applicable Marketplace and provider terms, the operator grants the user a limited, non-exclusive license to install and use Timer for Toggl Track for its intended purpose.

The operator retains ownership of the widget, hosted-service code, design, and other original material, and reserves rights not expressly granted here. The operator makes no ownership claim over a user's Toggl account or Toggl data.

Several services have to cooperate

The product depends on Toggl Track, CORSAIR iCUE, compatible CORSAIR hardware, Elgato or other Marketplace infrastructure where applicable, the distribution channel, the user's network, and the hosted service. Each third party operates under separate terms and may change availability, interfaces, eligibility, or functionality.

Use of a Toggl API token authorizes the fixed operations described in the privacy notice. It does not transfer ownership of the Toggl account or data to the operator.

API and webhook limits can affect the widget

Toggl applies plan-dependent API and webhook limits. Reaching an API request limit can delay or prevent timer reads, edits, and other operations; reaching a webhook limit can prevent optional Webhook updates from being enabled. These limits are set by Toggl, may change, and can affect the widget even when the hosted service is operating normally. See Toggl's current API and webhook limits for the limits associated with your plan. Safety polling is a fallback for delayed webhook delivery, not a way around Toggl's API limits.

Use an account you are allowed to control

The user is responsible for:

• maintaining compatible hardware, software, iCUE, and network access;
• controlling the Toggl API token and protecting it from disclosure;
• using only Toggl accounts and workspaces the user is authorized to access; and
• reviewing timer changes and deletion confirmations shown by the widget.

The product may not be used for unlawful activity, unauthorized access, abuse, interference with another service, security-control bypass, or unauthorized redistribution or resale.

Useful, not immortal

The operator may maintain, change, suspend, or discontinue the hosted service or product. No uptime, uninterrupted operation, data-delivery deadline, or webhook-immediacy guarantee is made. Webhook updates may be delayed and safety polling remains active as a fallback.

No recurring subscription fee is currently charged for the hosted service. If the operator determines that operating it consistently produces a net loss of more than US $50 per month—meaning ongoing hosting and operating costs exceed revenue attributable to this product by that amount—the operator reserves the right to discontinue the hosted service. If discontinued, the widget's hosted features will stop working.

A fully local-only replacement is currently difficult under iCUE and Toggl limitations. If the service is discontinued for this reason, the operator will re-evaluate whether a local-only or other approach is feasible and make a reasonable effort to provide an alternate working product. An alternative may not be feasible, and uninterrupted service is not guaranteed.

Support is provided through the contact method on the Marketplace or distribution listing. The support page documents setup, safe diagnostics, recovery, and deletion.

Reasonable limits, not invented absolutes

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the product and hosted service are provided without warranties beyond any warranty that cannot lawfully be excluded. No statement in these terms excludes, restricts, or overrides non-waivable consumer rights.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator's liability is limited reasonably in light of the nature of the product and the amount paid through the applicable Marketplace or provider. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited.

Marketplace purchase and refund requests follow the applicable Marketplace or provider terms and mandatory law. These terms neither promise nor deny a refund right.

Ending use cleanly

The license may end if the user materially breaches these terms or if the product or hosted service is discontinued. A user may stop using the product at any time.

For a clean removal, keep a current Toggl API token configured in the widget, reveal Delete data with the iCUE setting, use the button, and wait for confirmation. If Webhook updates are configured, installation-owned webhooks are removed and confirmed before hosted records are deleted. The widget then removes its locally saved encrypted token. Delete data does not delete Toggl time entries. Optional old-webhook recovery removes only confirmed Toggl subscriptions from another widget installation after separate consent; it does not delete that installation's hosted records.
